Macro (close up) Photograpahy by Darren Hull

I love to "get up close and personal" with photography, capturing those fine details your eye would normally glance over and miss. With an artistic composition and macro lens I feel I capture some missed beauty in some of these photographs.

Macro photography can really capture some beautiful details you would have never of realised were there, and let you re-think about how all the objects around you really look. For example the wonderful amount of textures on the crab shell, and each individual feather upon the swans back and the amount of patterns within the sliced lemon. Just look again at some of these photographs, and once again at the objects around you and appreciate the finer details, patterns and textures within your surroundings.
